The Course Builder is a database system with a web application overlay designed to allow you to quickly and easily construct online materials into a course.

It has a built in structure that uses Tasks (which can be made up of information and activities). A task can be any length and contain any basic internet MIME type or resource. (Picture, text, video, animation etc)

Units are created by adding tasks to a unit. Courses are created by joining together units. There is a lot of flexibility in the system and the system contains an editor to allow you to layout and mange HTML input.

Course Builder System was designed for the Swinburne HEPPP team and the NT Community Services Demonstrator project group.
